Affordable warmth grants

A national organisation that provide grants to those who need it most, for energy saving improvements like new boilers and insulation.

If you’re on a low income, or you receive certain benefits, you may be entitled to a grant towards home improvements such as a new boiler or insulation, that will reduce your heating bills.

Bevendean Food Group

A local weekly advice drop in around finances, benefits and debt, a coffee morning and referral food bank. The food bank is every Wednesday from 9am – 12pm and is a welcoming, friendly place for local residents to go and meet, chat and get advice or food if they are experiencing financial difficulties for any reason.

The food bank is for Bevendean residents only, you can drop in but proof of postcode is required. The food bank services Lower & Higher Bevendean, Moulsecombe, Meadow View, Bates Estate and Saunders Park up to & including Bear Road.
