Gardening is a wonderful activity to help improve wellbeing, get outdoors and take time to notice nature. These weekly sessions provide a gentle, regular activity with a friendly group and a chance to build confidence. There is lots of national evidence about the benefits of gardening for people with dementia. In Shape for life is a circuit based exercise session suitable for all abilities. This session is female only, with a female instructor.
Held in the parish hall, the session is fun and inclusive. Exercise adaptionsare made for individuals with specific needs. If you are unable to go down to the floor for mat based exercises, the option of using a chair is available. Why not come along and try this session? With support from The Homity Trust, Fabrica are delivering eight textile-based workshops, alternating between Leach Court Seniors Housing in Kemptown and Fabrica Gallery in Duke Street. At the welcoming and creative textile workshops you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, share your own textile creations and knowledge, and meet new people.
Sessions will alternate between Leach Court and Fabrica Gallery.

The Posh Club is a lively, glamorous and fun weekly older persons cabaret and afternoon tea club styled as a 1940s night club.
Each week guests are served an exquisite afternoon tea by waiters in black tie on vintage crockery and are entertained with live performances.
The Posh Club welcomes guests over 60 years old and their carers if needed.
Tickets are £5.
